Passionato announces partnership with the London Philharmonic Orchestra

25/02/2009

Passionato.com, the website with the world’s largest range of high-quality classical music downloads, is continuing to redefine the classical music world by announcing a partnership with one of the world’s greatest orchestras, the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Passionato is delighted to announce that it will now be the new download partner for the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Passionato has created a supersite to sell high quality downloads of LPO recordings owned by the orchestra, as well as many of their recordings made for most of the world’s leading record labels. The LPO label downloads will be exclusively available from the Passionato store for the first three months following release.

The LPO supersite on Passionato has been developed by the Passionato team, in conjunction with the LPO.

To celebrate the launch of the site, Passionato and the LPO are offering £2 off all albums on the London Philharmonic Orchestra label, plus they are offering an exclusive free download of Tchaikovsky’s beautiful ‘Serenade for Strings’, over 30 minutes of music, performed by the LPO under Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski.  Both offers run until 6th March.

Passionato and the LPO are also planning a range of initiatives to promote the site on an ongoing basis including post-concert offers; on-the-night promotions; online campaigns; social networking and customers will also benefit from a range of regular competitions, free content and special offers.
