AXM Venture Capital manages two investment funds – The Liverpool City Region Seed Fund and The North West Fund for Digital & Creative.
The Liverpool City Region Seed Fund
The Liverpool City Region (LCR) Seed Fund provides seed stage equity investment for ambitious growth businesses in the Liverpool City Region. It is backed by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as part of its LCR Strategic Investment Fund. LCR’s priority sectors are health and life sciences, advanced manufacturing and digital & creative. We are keen to hear from businesses in these sectors but the Fund can invest in businesses operating in any sector. The Fund is aimed at supporting businesses at seed stage with investment from £250,000 as part of a larger round.
The North West Fund for Digital & Creative
The North West Fund for Digital & Creative provided a flexible equity package for growth oriented businesses operating within the Digital & Creative sector, providing finance from £50,000 to £2m to businesses seeking finance to support a broad range of needs from start-up and early stage development through to expansion plans for trading businesses, in return for an equity share in the business. The £15m North West Fund for Digital & Creative is part of the £155m North West Fund.
